You need to understand that there is a certain limit of 45 kgs of this airline. And, even after paying more Avianca airlines baggage fees, you won't be able to carry more than this limit.

What if the Avianca Baggage is Lost or Delayed?

  • It is a very rare scenario but not impossible to have late, damaged or even lost baggage.
  • In case of looting, you are supposed to fill the baggage self-management form within 48 hours as a report.
  • When there is a case of damaged baggage, do the same and the airline will connect you shortly after troubleshooting the problem?
  • Please remember that after 7 days of arrival at your destination, no claim can be done.
