Other International Routes like Asia to Asia, non- Americas, etc. If you buy a second bag then $100 will be the charge. The next and subsequent bags will be around $150. It can be $150 per bag if you want to add a third or more.
  • For the overweight baggage the criteria is like this as per the Korean air baggage allowance-
    • If it is between 24 kgs to 32 kgs then the fee will be around $100 for the economy class.
    • It will be the same as the above for business or first class.
    • If it is between 33 to 45 kgs then get ready to pay $200 as a fee for basic economy class.
    • And, for prestige classes, the chargeable amount will be same.

  • The morning calm premium members will enjoy one additional bag of 32 kgs for first and other prestige classes and 23 kgs for economy class.
  • The million miler club in economy, prestige and even first class will be allowed to add one piece of 32 kgs.

  • And, 20 kgs will be given for morning calm premium club members and 30 kgs for million miler club members.

What to do if the Korean airline Luggage is Delayed, Missing or Damaged Baggage?

  • For the damaged baggage, file a claim within 7 days and the compensation will be provided to you for major damages.
  • For the delayed baggage, report at the airport within 48 hours and when you receive a reference number track the status of your baggage online.
  • The compensation of necessities during the delay is approximately $50 according to the Korean airlines baggage policy.
  • If the baggage is not located within 21 days then it is lost and compensation will be provided for it.
